Summer Taster Session - great success!

The West End Musical Choir Team were thrilled with the huge response to our FREE Summer Taster Session earlier this week… it was amazing to hear from so many wonderful people who enjoy musical theatre and want to learn how to sing.

Despite the London Tube Strikes effecting the whole of London on Wednesday & Thursday, so many people braved the journey not even knowing how they’d get back home after... The dedication & desire was worth it, as the singers who attended produced the most amazing sound, picking up the chosen song (which they’d never heard of before!) with such grace and style!

We started to learn the song "I Believe" from the rock musical Spring Awakening, music by Duncan Sheik and lyrics by Steven Sater. This is a great song to learn how to really blend your harmony with the rest of the choir, to try to produce 'one' gorgeous sound.

As Daisy put it, “It was great fun, Thank you ! My quote for the evening is I Believe 'Wine' always helps! See u in September x"

(We had some wine, yummy wraps & sushi to help people's evening from braving the long journey to & from the Taster Session due the tube strikes!)

Claudette travelled across London and brought some yummy home-made ginger cup cakes with her, which went down a real treat! (thanks again Claudette!)

It was SUCH a pleasure meeting a lot of you Thursday night at our Taster Session! Sorry to those who couldn’t make it due to the tube strike or other engagements BUT you can still sign up to join our Autumn Term in Sept!
