EXCITING NEW DISNEY PERFORMANCE TRIP LAUNCHING
We at West End Musical Choir (WEMC) have been collaborating with Disneyland Paris for four years & over that time built a wonderful relationship with their Disney Performing Arts & Creative Team. This has included the WEMC Team visiting Disneyland Paris outside of our trips that so many of us have all enjoyed, to develop new and unique experiences based on our unique Choir.
This is soooo exciting for us and has resulted in WEMC being the exclusive Choir opening their European Disneyland Paris Christmas Season. This is something we will continue to develop.
As the relationship between the two parties has grown stronger
during these four years, we started to discuss and exchange ideas on
how to produce an additional, brand new Disney weekend experience for the Spring/Summer months. Building on Disney’s unique strength & involvement in Musical Theatre and WEMC's position as their leading Adult Musical Theatre Choir. We are SUPER EXCITED to announce a BRAND NEW DISNEY WEEKEND PROGRAM for WEMC !!!!!!! Celebrating Disney musicals!

Working on all things Disney West End! Acting through song, adding Disney magic to your performance, how to build a character, engaging with your audience, importance of music to the Disney West End productions & the Disneyland Paris park experience, exploring Disney music genres, ensemble & teamwork exercises... understanding the importance of working as an ensemble on stage in the world of Disney.

2022 Schedule

Exclusive weekend with the Disney Performance Team developing voice, presence and acting through Workshops and stage performances.
LONDON REHEARSALS
Disney singers must attend a minimum of 2x of the 3x Rehearsals.
We highly encourage to attend all three.
You strictly CANNOT perform if you don't attend at least two.
We offer the chance to just attend 2x for only extreme circumstances.
Harmony tracks & vocal scores for Disney material provided
Must be committed to learning all of the material to a very high standard / outside-rehearsal preparation required
FIRST LONDON REHEARSAL

Saturday 29th January 2022
Time:
Doors open: 2:20pm to sign in & find your seat.
Rehearsal: 2:30 - 4:30pm
Do not be late singers!

St Mark's Church, St Mark's Place, London SW19 7ND
(weekly Wimbledon Choir rehearsal venue)
Requirement: For this first rehearsal, you do not need to be off-book.
Please come to the rehearsal having practised with the material already in your own time.
Attire:
Please wear all black. If you'd like to wear a WEMC t-shirt or hoodie you can purchase one from our online store here but this is not required.
Post rehearsal social:
To get to know your fellow Disney singers and to get excited about the performance trip we will book tables at a local pub to celebrate post rehearsal!
SECOND LONDON REHEARSAL

Rehearsal: 2:30 - 4:30pm

LONDON DRESS REHEARSAL
THIS LONDON DRESS REHEARSAL IS 100% REQUIRED TO ATTEND

There are lots of spaces in the building that are being used by lots of different groups (including a wedding and a teacher's training day).We are rehearsing in the top hall so when you arrive, please head straight up to sign in with us on the top floor.
Requirement:
OFF BOOK: For this dress rehearsal, you need to be off-book. Therefore cannot be holding music during this rehearsal as we will be polishing the performance.
We will be giving you your Eurostar train tickets at the end of this Dress Rehearsal.
Costume required to wear at this Dress Rehearsal:
All black with your WEMC t-shirt or hoodie.

CHEYENNE HOTEL
Home to arguably the best themed guest rooms is Disney's Hotel Cheyenne. With Toy Story rooms and fantastic Wild West theming throughout, saddle up for an adventure at this magical hotel.
If you want to save your steps for walking round the rides then a free shuttle service operates every few minutes from the hotel.
Chuck Wagon Cafe and the Garter Saloon provide drinks and buffet dining throughout the day.
