Musical Con 2024 - Cast 1 - Saturday

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE:

Musical Con is the West End's First Ever Musical Theatre Fan Convention!

The idea is to have West End Musical Choir perform before the event officially opens on the mornings of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October. We will be setting the tone for the day, entertaining the attendees as they wait in line. The energy is going to be absolutly amazing is it's the first-ever event!

Please note that perfoming doesn't include entry to this event. If you want to go to the event you will have to buy a ticket from www.musicalcon.co.uk We will have an exclusive discount for performers. More details on this to come.

NOWHERE TO HOLD YOUR BELONGINGS DUE TO SECURITY

We will place our belongings by our feet during this performance.

ON-BOOK PERFORMANCE

For this performance, you can use your music folder (on-book).

But we always HIGHLY recommend that you instead perform off-book for both you & the audience to enjoy the performances to their fulliest!

WE NEED AS MANY SINGERS AS POSSIBLE TO BE OFF-BOOK!!!

- if you have a music folder (on-book) it must be an all-black folder

- if a tablet (on-book) it must be in an all-black cover

- you cannot use your phone reading music from the App (As it would look like you're on your phone doing something else during the performance. We obviously encourage you to use our App on your phone in rehearsals, but cannot for performances).

Performance Date: Saturday 19th October

Arrival Time:  8:55am sharp /To have a quick warm up, get into place & sound check

Meeting point: Inside the main hallway of Excel London, at Costa Coffee

Venue:  Musical Con, entrance of Excel London

Performance Time: 9:15 - 9:45

What to do when you arrive: Look out for an Angel to sign in with them & then find your vocal harmony group to wait with them : )

PERFORMANCE ATTIRE:

As usual, we wear our Choir t-shirt or Choir hoodie and ALL black.

Everything worn must be a 'true' black colour therefore no faded black or items that have coloured stitching). No part of your Choir unform can have colour, other than the logo on your Choir t-shirt or hoodie : )

IF WEARING TIGHTS

If wearing a skirt pleasure ensure to wear black tights.

SHOES

If wearing shoes that expose part of your foot please ensure that you wear black socks = no exposed skin in those places. No open toe shoes. Your black shoes must be ALL black therefore no coloured shoe laces, stitching or soles.

As we perform to a professional level, we are extremely strict about our performance attire... we need to look as good as we sound lovelies! If you turn up to a Dress Rehearsal or Performance not in your full performance attire, you cannot perform. No exceptions lovelies!
