About the Event
Perform at Stoller Hall's Carole Nash Hall for our Manchester Summer Presentation and Invite friends and Family to watch!
ABOUT: Join us as we round off the summer term with a joyful and uplifting celebration of everything our choirs have been working on.
This special presentation is a chance for our singers to step into the spotlight and share their hard work, growth, and passion for musical theatre with an audience of friends, family, and fellow choir members. Expect an evening full of energy, storytelling, and some of the fantastic repertoire we've explored throughout the term.
More than anything, this is a feel-good celebration - a moment to come together, support one another, and enjoy the magic of performing as a group. Whether you're taking part or cheering from the audience, it promises to be a really fun and memorable event. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Performance Groove for 'You're the Voice'
At recent weekly rehearsals we introduced a simple performance groove for You're the Voice. This isn't choreography or dancing- it's just a relaxed way of sharing the pulse of the music together. During the marked sections, we'll do a small side-to-side step-touch, keeping the movement natural & understated so the singing remains the focus. During the more reflective sections, we'll return to complete stillness to let the lyrics speak. For singers with mobility limitations who aren't able to do the step-touch, simply share the same pulse through a gentle side-to-side movement of your shoulders and upper body. The aim is for us all to express the music together as one choir.
Movement Map
Bars 5–20: Still.
Bars 21–28 (Chorus): Introduce a small, unified step-touch.
Bars 29–32 ("This time..."): Still.
Bars 33–36 ("With the power..."): Step-touch returns as the music builds.
Bars 37–49: Freeze for the dramatic lyric.
Bars 49–end: Keep the step-touch for every chorus.
Bars 57–end: Add the arranger's written claps on top of the step-touch for the final lift.

'The Music of the Night' – Candle Instructions
For our End of Term Presentations this Saturday, we'll be providing each singer with a small battery-operated tea light candle to use during 'The Music of the Night'.
We've used these at previous performances, and they create a beautiful atmosphere for the song.
How to hold your candle (refer to photo above)
Hold the candle at chest level so it gently illuminates your face.
If you're holding your music folder during the song, you do not need to hold a candle.
Before the Presentation
We'll hand out the candles at the end of the rehearsal/soundcheck.
Please switch your candle on before the Presentation begins, as they're quite fiddly to operate once you're on stage.
Then store it in:
your pocket, or
the waistband of your trousers or skirt.
During 'The Music of the Night'
At the start of the song, take your candle out of your pocket/waistband and hold it at chest level.
At the end of the song, return the candle to your pocket/waistband.
Please leave the candle switched on.
End of the Presentation
Please hand your candle back to Choir Leader Aryn before you leave.
