West End, Touring & New Musical Theatre
Manuel Gageiro is a London-based Musical Director, pianist, arranger, and vocal coach working across the UK theatre industry. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Direction programme, he combines extensive musical theatre expertise with a background in theoretical physics from Imperial College London.
Manuel has worked on productions in the West End, on UK and international tours, and in concert performance, with credits including Oliver! (Gielgud Theatre), The Lightning Thief UK Tour, Mamma Mia! UK/International Tour, Fame European Tour, 101 Dalmatians UK Tour, Side Show at the London Palladium, and I Am Harvey Milk at Cadogan Hall. His work spans musical direction, orchestration, rehearsal pianism, conducting, and vocal coaching, with a particular passion for developing new musical theatre and original productions.
Alongside his performance and creative work, Manuel teaches regularly at leading London drama schools including Urdang, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Goldsmiths, ICMT, and MPA. He is also an active volunteer with Centrepoint, providing music education and workshops for young people experiencing or recovering from homelessness.
