Ricked conducted our first-ever performance on the castle stage at Disneyland Paris!
Rickey is a musical director and musician working mainly in the UK. He has worked on various productions including the West End, Regional and Touring productions. Rickey also provides services as a vocal coach, rep coach, as well as a composer, orchestrator and arranger.
As Musical Director, theatre credits include Grease (West End), Hairspray (UK Tour), Motown the Musical (UK Tour), EVITA (BOH), Sweet Charity (LTS), Holy Crap! (Kings Head Theatre), Little Women (European Premiere), Americana (Theatre Royal, Stratford East), Avenue Q (UK Tour and Hong Kong), the West End Musical Choir (conductor). Rickey has also worked on shows including Mamma Mia (Cyprus), NewsRevue (Canal Cafe Theatre), Grease, (UK and Ireland Tour) and taught at various schools, including LAMDA, Mountview, LIPA and Urdang. He also worked as cover MD for pantos in Bradford, Stoke, Hull, Darlington, and Manchester.
Rickey is currently the Musical Director on the Hairspray Tour, which is currently touring the UK until Spring 2025. He has been involved with Hairspray since 2017 and on his third tour of the show.
As a composer and orchestrator, credits include You. Me. Us. (Workshop), Blood Wedding (RAM), All Nighter (PRCPA).
As a vocal coach, Rickey has worked with clients including Louise Redknapp, Kevin Clifton, Anton Stephens, and Billie Piper.
Rickey trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), followed by a postgraduate Degree at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in London.
